Every day I wake up amazed that I have the privilege of living in the Middle Kingdom, China, and have the honor of serving staff, students, and parents from around the world. Kunming International Academy, KIA, is home to students from 29 different nations. Although it is an American styled international school, it has embraced a global perspective on education.
Students are encouraged to Learn, Love, and Lead. To foster these characteristics, we have created a supportive environment that allows students to take risks while exploring knowledge, and formulating a worldview to lead from.
